"hey! thanks for downloading my bundle! these are based on some of my favourite wallpapers, places i've been, things i've seen. please relax, there is no goals i have set for you. look around a bit, and head on your way whenever."

Various Places is a short exploration game. It originally started as a custom level mod for a game, branching off into its own game after I found it needed its own thing.

The scope for this project stayed pretty locked intentionally. I wanted to tackle my perfectionism problem, so being OK with constraints became a goal.

Realism with imperfections often comes across as uncanny or 'immersion breaking'. I've been feeling that stylisation is a cool way to play to my limitations while also sharing a bit about me.
