Stress Kit

In collaboration with University of Bath and Cineon, on behalf of Digital Futures.

Stress Kit (code-name) was developed to aid with staff well-being. The app provides research-backed training content, and pretty 3D environments we developed to be viewed in VR.

For this project, I handled core systems engineering, procedural animation and optimisation. This project's codebase required lots of careful architectual decisions, and pushed mobile VR hardware to the limit with its open environments.

My favourite part of this project was studying moth flight for procedurally animating the MVP's character. I modelled the character in Blender, and programmed systems used to control behaviour and procedurally animate them. The end result is highly customisable, artist friendly and has handy abstractions for expanding the project's scope.
